■doを使った日常会話

A: How do you go to work?

　　職場にはどうやって行きますか？
B: I go to work by bus.

　　バスで行きます。

■doを使う会話パターン

1. What is he doing on the roof?

　　彼は屋根で何をしていますか？
　　do：する、やる

2. What do you do? - I'm a dentist.

　　あなたの職業は何ですか？ - 歯医者です。
　　※「何をしていますか？」は「What are you doing?」

3. I did the dishes right after supper.

　　私は夕食後にすぐ皿洗いをした。
　　do：処理する

4. This medicine will do you good.

　　この薬は効くはずです。
　　do：(薬が)効く、効果がある

5. The steak is well done.

　　ステーキがよく焼かれた。
　　do：料理する、焼く

6. Will you do me a favor?

　　ちょっとお願いしてもいいですか？

　　do ~ a favor：〜のお願いをやってあげる

7. What have you done with your bicycle?

　　あなたの自転車はどうされましたか？

　　do with：〜を扱う、処理する

　　辞書無しではできません。

　　do without：〜無しで行う
